Marc Olin was welcomed back by friends and colleagues at eProductivity/EFI Connect 2022 in his new capacity as Executive Chairman of the board in the spin-off company eProductivity Software. It was great for INKISH to have a chance to sit down and understand more about who Marc Olin is and his view of the new setup.

Low migration is an important topic for flexo printers serving brand owners and customers in this labeling and packaging market that deals with direct and indirect food contact. That's where it all gets started in 2012, 23 December, 9 a.m. in the morning. Now, it's been almost nine years with Nilpeter Dubai looking after the entire Middle East operations. I like to keep things a bit tidy and clean. Otherwise, I feel a bit uncomfortable. Last year was a special year for Nilpeter. Because that's when we celebrated our 100 years. Being a part of Nilpeter I always consider us as a very fortunate thing which happened to my life. Because that company - it's a marvelous, super cool company. So Nilpeter has a unique goal to do business with people who believe what we believe. He is my director, Mr. Shyam. So, he was the one who hired me in 2012. The relationship is very special, I would say. When you put your ultimate trust in someone else. And that generates a great bond, which is, you know, indescribable. So, he's basically a super cool chap. He's a good reader. A philosopher sometimes. And a very honest and smart businessman. So, I always take tips and suggestions from him. And the best and the funny part is - it works. This is from Georgia basically. So, I had a chance to visit that place. And that's where I took that picture. The nature plays a key role, I think, in everybody's life. Overwhelmed with the pandemic situation. So, I think the best thing to do is whenever we feel depressed or anxious or confused to spend some time with the family or friends. Or maybe just alone. And many companies whom I know personally had a great 20/20 business year compared to previous years. So, we must adapt to come over this particular stage as well. You know, let's not lose the hope. Reitoft that the market is changing in the right direction. With customers demanding products that can only be made profitable digitally, the technology developed in the Koenig & Bauer Durst Joint Venture is right for the market - Maik Laubin is convincing, and his speak - and with the first machines in the market - it will be interesting to see what happens. Luis Diníz has a comprehensive background in the web-to-print industry, and despite the competitive situation, he has chosen to offer a new solution called Arando (Cranberry in Portuguese). The solution is, according to Luis Diníz, is a new and fresh approach, and yes, the solution seems to offer new approaches to web-to-print. In the 'Over the Skype' session, Luis Diníz explains that the driver for work is content creators. Imagine a museum that offers print of posters. By using Arando, the museum can easily integrate their current show to their print supplier and then order work directly from their existing shop with an easy integration - great approach. We expect to cover this when we again can travel. As with all our ‘Over the Skype’ interviews, quality is limited to bandwidth, web-cams, and ability to literally LIVE mix the conversations. INKISH hosted for the first time ever our NON-EVENT. The Non-event is celebrating the people that have been in front of the camera, or been supporting INKISH during the past years. As Pat McGrew explains, the machine featured is not compared to almost anything else. It's a digital printer with built-in embellishment options that would generally take MORE machines to do, but it also excels as it can print on LONG and thick substrates.
