INKISH.TV met with CEO Håvard Grjotheim from 07 Media in Oslo a couple of months ago - and that was an interesting. 07 Media is one of the largest printers in Norway - or to be more precise, 07 Media is not only a printer, but produces a lot of different products and services. Hårvard Grjotheim is not only a charismatic leader since 07, but he is also having a great international experience, since he among other things have been president for Intergraph.

Lasertryk.dk has in the past years become the absolute lightning tower in the Danish and even in the Scandinavian printing industry, so what wouldn't be more natural than paying them a visit. CEO Esben Mols Kabell explain about how he and his partner Anders Groenborg started and how they got to where they are today. At Graph Expo 2014 I first met Brett Heap from Opensoft or to be more precise I met him at a booth at Graph Expo presenting Scissorhands. It took a little while to understand exactly what Scissorhands as, but nice scissor girls - inspired from the film Edward Scissorhand, the young girls were dressed with scissor hands and made an appearance that at least would catch attention. Scissorhands is a software/hardware plugin that enables cutters to operate smarter, faster and extremely more simple. We at INKISH.TV have been fans of Scissorhands since then and have spoken about them at every given opportunity - finally we got time with Brett Heap at the recent GraphExpo, where he explains about this REALLY great and cool product.

Andy Campbell must have one of the greatest work in the world. Working as Application and Innovation Manager for Ricoh Europe gives him the opportunity to think about applications and products that can support Ricoh's ever increasing number of customers to increase their profit. We met him at Sign&Print in Stockholm, where he share his views on market and future requirements.

A couple of months ago INKISH.TV was invited to Trondheim to participate in the annual meeting arranged by the Norwegian Federation of Printers. The event was a three day event, combining professional and social activities. Speakers from all over Norway came and made the days extremely interesting. On the second day we were also invited to see a great packaging printer 'Eskefabrikken' which was a stunning experience. The speakers were well prepared and we believe that the leaders of the industry took inspiration with them, back home.

At DRUPA 2016 we found this VERY interesting booth, representing Imaging Solutions from Switzerland. The company produce equipment for making stunning photo products and lay flat photo books. We got an interview with Andrzey Heeb. He was Head of Marketing and Communication while we spoke to him at DRUPA. Today he has got a new job, but that doesn't change that Imaging Solution produces GREAT products. Take a look and listen. Now marketing has been taken over by Bettina Stillich.

InterMail has a strong background in the mail, envelope and fulfilment business but is undergoing a lot of changes - from being solely a paper-based supplier to be a leader in Loyalty programs throughout Scandinavia. Actually InterMail has been a company working with digital solutions for more than 20 years - but with the new CEO Anders Ertmann it seems that a lot of changes are in the pipeline and that the company will change over the next years in order to become not only a leader in the business they are well-known for, but also for the business they will conquer.

At GraphExpo we had a chance to talk to CEO and Founder Tony Michiels from Argos Solutions - and that was great. First of all, he is a very nice guy, but the flat coater he presented at GraphExpo was also really cool. Using LED-UV reduces not only energy consumption, but also reduce the amount of UV-Varnish needed for the jobs - and that leads to lower production cost and faster return on investment. Cool - but see for your self!

PrintPack India 2019 was a tremendous success for the organizers IPAMA and in this Conversation editor, Morten Reitoft gets the chance to talk to President S. Dayaker Reddy. India is one of the largest markets for print and with more than 250.000 printing companies and growth in all segments - the words of the President is important. Mr. Dayaker Reddy also explain that Indian printing companies are investing in new technology and he believes that India will have a bigger role in the global printing industry over the next year. At the recent Gulf Print & Pack 2015 Xerox presented the CP1000. Or to be more precise re-launched the CP1000 with the option to use Gold or Silver toner. For Xerox the metallic toner is a first and as you can see from the samples, the gold and silver really adds a nice touch to the print.
